My sister is coming for Christmas, and she will be borrowing my room. Since she has a job now, she can afford to kick in some rent, but since she's family and all, I’ll give her a fair rental rate. If you all recall, my sister has a way of taking over my room whether I like it or not.

In expectation of her arrival, I have been cleaning, which has consisted of me drinking a lot of Red Bulls and Full Throttle. I need the extra energy boost to give my place  a real thorough cleaning.

My Christmas present to her was a roundtrip plane ticket and a Merry Christmas, so no need to go out shopping.

We are going to cook up something, probably make it up as we go, which is why I cleaned out my refrigerator as well.

She has challenged me to a game of bowling, which by the way, I’ve only gone bowling once this year. She has no shot at all of taking me, despite my lack of practice.

I also bought a video game for us to play. Instead of us going to Dave and. Busters and wasting a lot of coins for her trying to prove she doesn’t have two left feet, I picked up Dance Revolution. So, I can laugh at her in the comforts of my own home.

Other than that, we’ll just chat, chill, swap stories, probably go to the movies and I’m just really excited that she’s going to make it to one of my games.

Speaking of football, this is our last game. Obviously the Redskins are a tough opponent, and they have several weapons on offense. We have to always stop their running game, and then in the passing game, they have some threats too in Chris Cooley and Santana Moss. Then the quarterback, Jason Campbell, he’s a great athlete and we have to account for him.

To sum up our season, we started off bad. I still have that bad taste from the losing streak in my mouth. We can’t let opportunities or moments ever pass us by again like we did during that stretch.

On a personal note, I finally feel like I am getting into a groove out there. It makes me wish we had more games left. At the same time I’m excited for where we are going overall.

In closing, I’ll share one funny story. A few weeks ago, Coach Singletary requested that we have a meal ready for us after practice. I really had a sweet tooth that day, so I took a plate home of desserts - red velvet cake, pineapple cake and banana pudding. I went upstairs to the kitchen to get my desserts and my banana pudding was so good that the last three stairs didn’t mean anything to me. So, I ended up falling on my butt, and Marcus Hudson, who was playing a video game looked over after hearing me fall, but the only thing he could were two black socks in the air. However, what he said he heard after I fell was me sucking the last bit of banana pudding off my spoon. Despite the fall, I didn’t drop a single spoonful of dessert. That how I know I’m a fat kid at heart.
