 Since this is the way it is... and I don't see any changes coming any too soon. I will post my thoughts here.

 

This morning as I watched Texas Stadium go up in a puff of smoke. I did not feel the JOY. I thought I would. Last night, I was giving the Cowroach Hubby Fan all kinds of grief over it. Since it's going to be a parking lot. I stated that perhaps Romo could find a parking spot cuz he sure can't find a runnning back..... My Bad ......lol.

However, I must be getting soft in my old age. Cuz I did not feel the way I thought I would.

 As the gray smoke rose over what once was Texas Stadium. I found myself taking a trip down memory lane....I will always remember TO standing on that Star and Emit Smith defending it like a crazed bulldog. Tom Landry, Roger Staubach, Don Meredith, Ed Too Tall Jones The Doom's Day De-fence. Fun Times !!! Myself wearing a Jerry Rice jersey and Niners jacket into a Giants/Cowboy game.... That was great!!

 Now don't get me wrong.I still dislike Jerry Jones,(he is trying to get the NRF ((National Finals Rodeo)) out of Vegas and into his new stadium in Arlington. This town relies on that. It's going to cost a hell of a lot of money now to keep it here.Thanks to Mr. Jones.) In the words of Forest Gump "One more reason".  

I dislike The Dallas Cowboys and many of their old coaches. Jimmy Johnson being number 1 on that list.That dang hair that never moved....that arrogant altitude...Grrrr .....I can't dislike Wade Phillips. The loveable idiot....  Keep him  Mr. Jones he is doing a great job...he he !!!

 Watching their Stadium go down. Made me think of the day that "The Stick" will go the same route. How sad I will be to see that day.The memories those places hold are truly priceless...

Therefore I take my hat off in respect to a building that for many holds very dear memories. They may be able to build them BIGGER and BETTER..However, they will never replace the memories they hold...... RIP Texas Stadium........
