Cold, Cold, Cold

We just now came off the practice field. I'm actually cutting my tape off my wrists as I talk to Chrissy. She's a bit concerned that I am going to cut myself with her large-sized scissors, but no worries there.

We are about to go to Buffalo and as you all know, I do not like cold weather. It gives me a headache just thinking about it. They say it is already snowing there. All I can do is just prepare myself for the worst- you know those games on tv where the snow is blowing sideways, and to where it's so cold and snowy that you can't see your breath because it just looks like the rest of the white stuff. I know I'm not going to be warm enough, but I'm going to lather myself in Vaseline because it's an insulator.

I do not plan on going outside tonight or on Saturday. We'll have a walk-thru but they'll give us sweats for that. Otherwise, I'll be in my room lounging in my shorts and t-shirt with the heat on full blast.

Turkey day was really good. I'm not going to reveal my sources for where I went but I hope Moms come back next year and all of the years to follow because the food was, I mean it was pretty much to die for. It was finger licking good. I really didn't even have any room to put away desserts which is one of my favorite parts of Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is the greatest, and you know what, I get to do it all over again on Monday and Tuesday because I have leftovers.  But one thing I did miss was my back home banana pudding that my aunts and cousins make. I do miss that because that right there is worth fighting for.

This is going to be a really long flight, but I'm looking forward to it. I'm going to sleep, while listening to my i-Pod, then wake up, play my PSP, eat something and then go back to sleep.

As for the game, it's going to be cold, I already said that, really cold, and this game I think will be a very physical game and a downhill game. I think that both teams are going to try to run the ball and be physical. When tackling in the cold, man, you really feel those hits, but good news, eventually you get numb.

  • Great game. Broke a west coast curse this season, huh? No team going over there and winning 'cept us.
