It was really good to get a win obviously. We really didn’t do anything different in terms of scheme. It was just a matter of everyone doing a great job executing. Our defense played really well and got a lot of turnovers and got us some good field position, and then we were able to take advantage of it.

It’s fun to play when everything is clicking and you don’t feel like the opposing team can stop anything you do. We felt like we could do anything, and it was a lot of fun just to kick someone’s butt for a change.

I spiked the ball last time Shaun Hill scored, and I was actually laughing because I knew he was looking to pass it to someone, but nobody was paying attention. He pump faked about four times trying to get it to someone, and finally I think he yelled at Heitmann and he got it. I thought maybe I was going to get it again because I was the only one who was actually paying attention. If I ever get another one, I’m doing it between the legs – it just better not bounce wrong!

I thought it was awesome that Shaun won NFC Offensive Player of the Week. It’s nice to get some positive pub for a change, instead of people talking bad about us. I really think Shaun has played well for us, and I’m excited for him to continue getting opportunities out there.

As soon as I finish this blog, I’ll be shooting another Joe Show. My plan is to ask guys about their pickup lines and whether or not they worked. I think one of my best ones was “Did you fart? Because you just blew me away.”  Chrissy Mauck told me that it was totally gross but that I could use that one, but that I have to be careful because if guys said anything insulting towards women, she was going to make sure it reached the cutting room floor.

I also plan to ask what guys’ favorite chick song is – you know everybody has one song that they love that they are ashamed to admit. For instance, mine is Breakaway by Kelly Clarkson.

I received a couple of emails, one about what some of our favorite meals are that our moms cook for us. I like that one, and will incorporate soon.

After the show, we’ll be catching our flight to Dallas.  I sit by Snyder on the flights and we play this puzzle game on Nintendo DS. Actually he plays it, but he can never figure it out so I end up solving them. So basically, I play the game while he holds it. I’ll probably watch a movie as well.  Heit and Snyder usually go to Fry’s before we leave and so I told them to get me a surprise movie.

Last week they got me this movie called The Ten. Heitmann blew it up like it was going to be amazing, but I turned it off after an hour. It was awful, and I was really pissed.

Other than that, I try to sleep on our flights. 

I haven’t seen my nephew, little Snyder, this week. I’ve been busy. Snyder doesn’t hang out much anymore. We have poker night every Monday night at David Baas’ house, and he hasn’t shown up lately. I don’t blame him. I’d rather hang with my kid too, instead of us fat guys.
